English version:

Chicken Satay will always remind me of my brother. He used to make this dish at home, I don’t know if he prepared it several time or just once. However, I have a good memory about him and those chicken brochettes he put on the electric grill and covered them with the fabulous satay. It’s my first time making this dish, and I was inspired by the great peanut butter I bought some days ago in an “American store” in Madrid. I looked up for some recipes on the web and at the end, and as usual, I used them as a guide to end up creating my own. To the wonderful peanut butter (I am a big fan of this creamy invent) I added soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and ginger, put it on a pan to heat and melt it. To the chicken brochettes I added some zucchini to make them lighter. Then, I marinated them with sesame oil, green onion and garlic. I usually don’t follow the recipe and respect quantities (I do it when I bake or make desserts). Recipes are a guide, no doubt about it, however, I think it’s really important to follow your instinct when cooking, to always taste what you are making and just take the risk!
